I had no classes today luckily, and I used the entire day to recover from the massive all you can drink fest of last night. 14 ramubaku (a rum and lemon drink), I definitely got my money's worth. Also before that, I went out with three Japanese guys who I've gotten to know since I've been here. They took me out for some yakitori and some non-traditional Japanese food, which they were surprised when I ate it. It's pretty much like any southern BBQ food; the dinner included chicken skin, fatback, ribs, gizzards, and chicken hearts. Definitely a fun experience, I hope I get to hang out with these guys more often. They came along to nomihodai with me and some of the other internationals, but chose to watch us drink over getting wasted themselves. I guess we're our own entertainment. Tomorrow is another Japanese class and Japanese Literature, so I've been studying all day to try to keep up, since I'm a little out of my comfort zone in the language classes. There's a birthday party for one of the guys tonight so I'll have to try to manage that, gym, and Skyping the family before bed. Easier said than done. I hope I can keep in contact with everyone, since I have such limited time online, I have to talk to a lot of people at once, so hopefully nobody will get mad if I take too long to respond. I should go get some stuff done now though, like figuring out the weekend. I need to plan some trips and do some typical sightseeing and temple-hopping. I'm open to suggestions ha!
