So I finally did it. After all my anxiety about tickets, visas, transportation, funds, I made it. Well close enough for right now. I'm in the San Fransisco International Airport, trying to find ways to kill this ten hour layover before I can get to Osaka. Everyone keeps telling me to try to sleep, but I'm just too paranoid to pass out and leave my carry on just chilling in this city. We'll see how that goes though. It hasn't really sunk in yet, I think all the nervousness is still in another time zone. I already have the e-mail from Kansai though, telling me what I'm going to be doing as soon as I get off the plane. I plan on cramming some major Japanese studying on this last flight to prepare for this luncheon and orientation, both of which are in Japanese. I'm hoping I can get an Internet connection and power for my laptop too. Well honestly, there's a list of stuff that if I was a worrier would be driving me nuts. But I'll count my blessings and just take it all in stride. Let's see how this next day in transit goes!!
